Colin Kaepernick former San Francisco 49ers quarterback the guy who is known for kneeling during the national anthem. Is back on the front cover of GQ magazine. Colin Kaepernick was on the cover of this magazine back in 2013 for being one of the best football players in the world. Fast forward In 2017, Colin Kaepernick is on GQ's cover once again. This time he isn't playing football. Why is that when he is still, to this day, one of the most gifted quarterbacks on earth. Colin Kaepernick is blackballed because he will not stand during the national anthem. He risked it all for his people, his career, endorsements his private life, his safety. He stood tall for injustice in our country and he's still standing. He did it to protest systemic oppression and, more specifically, as he said repeatedly at the time, police brutality toward black people. Colin Kaepernick is a real life gangster. It takes a very brave man to stand up for his people at the risk of loosing everything. We love him for his bravery and for having the courage to stand for his people and lead by example. Colin Kaepernick tweeted that he was "honored" to be recognized by GQ. Leave your thoughts and comments below
